In general, you must meet two conditions before you travel:

• Fill out a control form. This can be found on the official Spain Travel Health website.
• Show a negative Covid test result, whereby the test must be carried out 72 hours before arrival. If you do not have a test result with you, you will have to expect a fine and take a test (for a fee) at the airport. This obligation does not apply to entry via land.

It is possible for EU citizens to pass through France, and there are no restrictions in Spain for passing through or onward.
