Meet the Casa Andaluza Team

Meet the Casa Andaluza Team

Our summer team: to handle the challenges of the season we have expanded our team to 9 members.

Karin Joanidopoulos (Founder and Managing Director)

I fell in love with this beautiful region during a trip to Andalusia in 1995. Three years later I started to establish the first contacts with owners and Casa Andaluza went on the market with its first printed catalogue. In those years, Casa Andaluza was a pioneer in attracting foreign tourism, especially German and English, and we managed to extend the season of our properties by occupying the spring and autumn months.

What started as a mini-agency in a corner of my home-office in Munich was well received and allowed me to move in 2001 with my three children to Andalusia to expand the business and to offer our clients a personalised, professional and comprehensive service for holiday homes in the region of La Janda Litoral.

Even 20 years later I am enthusiastic about my work and every year new challenges arise: incorporating new digital technologies; adapting Casa Andaluza to market changes and new legal and fiscal requirements; leading the company through economic and pandemic crises; establishing ourselves as a reference company of integral service for tourist housing in Conil and surroundings.
I am grateful every day to live in this paradise that is the Costa de la Luz, and to live, always in good company, in my personal paradise in Zahora.

Sara Cabeza Valdes (Reservation and Sales Manager, responsible for guest clients)

Born and raised in Germany of Andalusian parents, I came to live in Chiclana in 2010, where I worked for more than 10 years in reception at various luxury hotels.

Working in a holiday rental agency has been my dream for a long time. When I joined Casa Andaluza in spring 2022 I was overwhelmed by the complexity of this business and how so many properties and individual owners can be managed by a small team.

After more than a year I am well acquainted with the organisation and procedures of the agency, and have been promoted to office manager. I love my job as it encompasses a wide variety of tasks and challenges, and gives me the possibility to actively contribute to the introduction of improvements.

Working at Casa Andaluza, where we are humans and not machines, where there is an open office to serve the public, gives me the opportunity to be close to the client, to talk to them face to face, to give them individual attention.

Laura Camacho Valdes (Housekeeper, responsible for cleaning and housekeeping services)

I am from Cádiz and have always lived in the province: in Barbate, Vejer and Jerez.
I joined Casa Andaluza as a housekeeper in March 2023 as a lateral candidate. Although I have not explicitly worked in this position before, thanks to my professional background I know perfectly well how to lead and supervise a team. I am also a neat freak and take care of every last detail. I am also quite handy and personally take care of many small maintenance tasks.

As Casa Andaluza's housekeeper I ensure that our guests find their holiday home well maintained, clean and in perfect working order. My aim is to achieve a maximum of 5 star ratings for the houses we manage and to optimise the efficiency of the cleaning and maintenance service.

Cuca Ruíz (Factotum / Office and service team support)

Cuca is from Extremadura and has lived most of her life in Germany. She has been living in Conil for a few years now. Her recruitment in spring 2023 was a great success: always friendly, cheerful and trilingual, she relieves both the office team and the cleaners of overwork.

Paloma and Fati have joined the staff in May/June 2023. Thanks to these professionals, we provide an excellent cleaning service to our clients.

Sofia, Sofía, Dani and Marcos: young and at the same time old team members, as they have been reinforcing the Casa Andaluza staff for years.
