For Andalusia, the existing
entry and exit ban
has been extended until January 25, 2021. There must be valid reasons for entry, tourist reasons are not included. Through traffic is not affected. Movement and journeys are allowed within the whole of Andalusia, but there are mobility restrictions for individual municipalities with high incidence values. (Source: Federal Foreign Office).
Traveling to Spain:
In general, you have to meet two requirements before you travel: Fill out a control form. This can be found on the official Spain Travel Health website. Show a negative Covid test result, whereby the test must be carried out 72 hours before arrival. If you do not have a test result with you, you will have to expect a fine and take a test (for a fee) at the airport. This obligation does not apply to entry via land. It is possible for EU citizens to pass through France, and there are no restrictions in Spain for passing through or onward. Further information can be found on the website of the Federal Foreign Office.
