Meet the Casa Andaluza Team

Karin Joanidopoulos (Founder and General Manager)

I fell in love with this beautiful region during a round trip through Andalusia in 1995, and came back every year. In 1998 I started to set up Casa Andaluza with the idea to attract foreign, off season tourism to this paradise. What started small in a corner of my living room in Munich for off-season tourism, grew quickly and our house owners were pleased to host foreign tourists also during the high season.

In 2001 I moved with bag and baggage to Andalucia and opened an office in Conil, to be close to the market and to our customers and to provide a unique personal property management service. Since then I never have stopped to be grateful to live in my own, personal paradise in Zahora, where my 3 children grew up, together with dogs, cats and a varying number of chickens.

Even after more than 20 years I am enthusiastic about my work and every year there are new challenges: incorporate new tecnologies, adapt to new legal requirements, direct the company through economic and pandemic crisis... And I will make sure that Casa Andaluza will offer an excellent service to its clients, travelers and house owners, also during the next 20 years.

Jose Luis Acosta (Service Manager, responsible for property management, owner and sub-contractor relations)

Being a native "Gaditano", I have left my home more than 20 years ago to study and work in different countries, many years in Germany, but also in the UK.

During the last decade I have worked as service manager for hotels and luxury villas in Ibiza and other locations in Spain. After a "forced" pause, due to the pandemic crisis and its repercussions in the touristic market, I am thrilled to part of the team of Casa Andaluza and work in the sector, I am familiar with, but this time from the side of reservations and customer attention.

The job at Casa Andaluza also allows me to live with my family in Chiclana.

My main challenge at Casa Andaluza is to improve the service management in order to achieve 4 - 5 star ratings in all our accommodations.

Sara Cabeza Valdes (Reservations Manager, responsible for bookings, guest relations and channel management)

Born and raised in Germany with Andalusian parents, I came to live in Chiclana in 2010, where I worked during more than 10 years in reception in various luxury hotels.

To work in holiday property rental agency has been my dream for a while already. In the first weeks at Casa Andaluza, I was overwhelmed by the complexity of this business and how such an amount of properties and individual owners can be handled by a reduced team.

Now that I am familiar with the organization and the procedures of the agency, I love my job, as it comprehends a large variety of tasks and challenges, and it gives me the possibility to contribute actively in the introduction of improvements.
